How To Serve?

Prayer Team

This is the foundation of all ministry teams. These prayer warriors will be praying for the people of the Boston area and the ministry of Heart Change on a daily basis. They will also be taking individual requests to the Lord on behalf of our congregation during the week.

Worship Team

Whether through singing or playing an instrument, this team leads our church musically. A central element of the worship team is to help prepare people to hear and understand God's message.

Atmosphere Team

This team will consist of people with the gift of hospitality. We want everyone from the time they visit Heart Change Fellowship to the time they leave to feel as if they have been around people who reflect Christ's love. This team will serve in several capacities including food setup and making sure each environment is appropriate for worship.

Prep/Tear Down Team

This team will be responsible for preparing our worship environments before and after each service. This will include setting up and taking down chairs, music equipment, tables, and other items that require lifting.

Technology Team (e.g. sound, PowerPoint, video camera)

We need technically-inclined people with servants' hearts to serve within our audio/visual team. This would include operating PowerPoint, video recording, operating sound equipment, website management, etc.

Childcare Team

The children that God entrusts to us are a wonderful blessing and responsibility. We have opportunities for people to serve children and their families from newborn care to elementary aged.

Creative/Communications Team

This team will help us create and deliver HCF happenings. Responsibilities include writing articles for our monthly newsletter, thinking creatively about how to spread the word of God, and helping us communicate (via e-mail and print) to our target community.
