Core Values

Our heart beats for the lost seeking to come into a right relationship with a Holy God. The values of HCF also lie within our heartbeat for the body of Christ to grow and thrive in their relationship with God. The Heartbeat is a “single complete pulsation of the heart, a regular or rhythmical beating.” The rhythm for ministry of HCF is driven by the P.U.L.S.E. The pulse, this throb of life, compels our central focus for HCF Ministry.

PASSIONATE WORSHIP

Worship is a daily lifestyle of responding to God’s revelation of Himself within the heart, mind, and soul in ways that reveal the essence of the character of Christ. Our worship reflects the life transforming gospel of Jesus Christ. Eph. 5:18-20; John 4:24

UNDENIABLE TRUTH

Acknowledging a biblical worldview to measure our personal lives. We submit ourselves to the authority of the principles taught within the Holy Bible. We are committed to the teaching and application of the Bible by making disciples through the power of the Holy Spirit in order to see Christ formed in the lives of the body. 2 Timothy 3:16; Romans 15:4

LIVING AUTHENTICALLY

Modeling the commitment to authentic biblical community in our relationships. Based upon biblical truth and mutual accountability, we believe life transformation occurs within the context of unity and the diversity of these authentic relationships. Eph. 4:1-6; Acts 2:42-47

STRATEGIC SERVICE

The strategic utilization of our gifts, passions, and experiences to intentionally serve the local and global community. We desire to be an irresistible influence within our community through socially responsible conduct. We will invest in and serve our community passionately, personally, practically, and generously. Eph. 4:11-13;  I Peter 4:10-11

ENGAGED EVANGELISM

Seeking to make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ through missions and relational evangelism. The daily dedication of each disciple of Christ to grow spiritually will strive towards personal holiness and a desire to pass along their faith. The hope is that the fellowship, love of the saints, and Christ modeled living will attract unbelievers to the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:18-20; 2 Cor. 4:5
